MISSION
Our Mission is to teach and develop academic skills to the maximum potential to achieve academic excellence, while nurturing the spiritual area, planting values and Christian bases needed to improve the student's life, as well as the society.
OUR STORY
Joanna Rodriguez, M.Ed., with more than 16 years of experience in the educational field, specialized in English as a Second Language and Curriculum Design, along with Mr. Jose D. Velez, which has several degrees in Cinematography, Computer Programming and a vast history as a woodcarver artisan, founded Bilingual Christian Academy & Technology, Inc. as a response to the necessity for Bilingual Education in Florida. BCAT uses two curriculums, Edgenuity and Ignitia, which is a non-denominational, Christian curriculum. We are proud to offer K to 12 education. Through our curriculums, we are able to provide over 206 courses in which there are around 29 electives and over 40 Educational Technical Courses. We also offer English Classes for adults as part of our commitment with the community. We provide our students with daily academic, and spiritual tools for them to be successful in every aspect of their lives. We are proud to make the difference in education, not teaching for a test, but preparing them for the test of live academically and spiritually!

ART: BCAT has a very strong Art Program that leads students not only to draw, paint, exhibit and even auction their work, but also teaches them how to use those learned skills as a source of income while attending College, or as a Profession.
ROBOTICS: BCAT Engineers Team is the name of our Robotics Team. Robotics is a simpler to understand and more tangible introduction to programming. Learning robotics in schools gives students the opportunity to address the growing demand of STEM subjects while learning how science, engineering, math, and technology work together and interact.
CHESS: Chess learning has many benefits: it grows the dendrites of the brain, prevents Alzheimer, raises your child's IQ, increases kid's solving problems skills, improves spatial skills, improves the memory of your child, exercises both sides of the brain, increases the creativity of your kid, improves the concentration, and Chess teaches planning and foresight.
SPORTS: BCAT Sports is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the possibilities of young students to acquire a College Career. BCAT has 5 Basketball Teams: Coastal Varsity, Sunshine Varsity, and National Varsity, with over 56 student-athletes in our program. We also have two Flag Football Teams: Elementary and Middle School, with knowledgeable Coaches and staff. We believe in Sports as the tool to impact the future of our students, allowing many of them to be the first generation in their family to get to college.
